Useful & Fun Stuff

I have found the following programs to be invaluable in my research. Perhaps you will also find them to be useful.

SMATR: Standardised Major Axis Tests & Routines

SMATR is a user-friendly program that allows you to conduct ANCOVAs on reduced
major axis slopes as well as generating robust RMA confidence intervals.

Mesquite: A Modular System for Evolutionary Analysis
This program includes a multitude of modular components for the phylogenetic
analysis of comparative data. Mesquite encompasses the functions of MacClade
                     but works on all platforms.

                     Compare: Phylogenetic Comparative Methods
Compare is a java-based programs that is extremely useful for computing
Phylogenetic Generalized Least-Squares or Phylogenetic Independent Contrasts
                     for continuous comparative data.

My research has been funded by the Leakey Foundation, to whom I am grateful. Check out their currently funded projects:

"Collected" Song Parodies

I love song parodies more than most. But, I especially enjoy them when they make fun of my old dissertation advisor. See if you can catch the Callum-isms.
